Invitae report shows variant NM_003234.3(TFRC):c.1678-5_1678-4delinsCA frequency None
I can’t find this on gnomad but clinvar has
NM_001128148.3(TFRC):c.1678-5_1678-4inv as likely benign and there are 2 submissions; one from Invitae, one from another lab which says this variant is seen in 52% of the population from a study of 50 people. I wrote to Invitae and asked and the response says they have seen this variant in thousands of reports, but then the report wouldn’t say population frequency none, correct? Is this variant written another way or has anyone else come across a variant they didn’t see in gnomad? Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
